Georgia Democratic Counties Election Challenge

Lawsuit filed by voters in Georgia claiming that election officials included “illegal Presidential Elector results” from certain Democratic-leaning counties in the state’s final election results. The challenge sought to to stop the certification of presidential election results from named counties. The Democratic Party of Georgia filed a motion to intervene in the case, but all pending motions were not ruled on as the plaintiffs filed a voluntary dismissal only five days after docketing the case.

This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
