Wisconsin Milwaukee Drop Box Challenge

Lawsuit filed by the conservative Thomas More Society on behalf of voters challenging the use of drop boxes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The plaintiffs claim that the use of “unmanned,” unmonitored drop boxes is not allowed under Wisconsin law and that taxpayer funds used to finance the drop boxes are similarly unauthorized. The lawsuit asks the state trial court to ban the use of unmonitored drop boxes in future elections in Milwaukee. The lawsuit was dismissed on Sept. 7.
