Pennsylvania Provisional Ballot Challenge

Lawsuit filed on Election Day by Republican candidates and individual voters seeking to block voters whose mail-in ballots were rejected from also casting provisional ballots. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) intervened in the case. The court granted a partial preliminary injunction, stating that provisional ballots cast on Election Day by an individual whose absentee ballot was received in time must be segregated. The court rejected the petitioners’ other requests.
