Nevada Vote by Mail Federal Intervention

Lawsuit filed by individual voters seeking to shut down the all-mail election announced by the Nevada secretary of state in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent public health crisis. The Nevada State Democratic Party, Democratic National Committee (DNC), Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), Priorities USA and an individual voter successfully intervened in the case to support the secretary’s decision and advocate for other election reforms. The court dismissed the case as moot after the primary elections had passed.
