Nevada RNC Intervention

Lawsuit filed by the Trump campaign, Republican National Committee (RNC) and Nevada Republican Party challenging a law passed to address election procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic. The complaint alleges that the bill — which expanded mail-in ballot access, legalized ballot collection, provided cure standards for signature matching, required polling places on reservations and more — violated the U.S. Constitution and various federal statutes. The Democratic National Committee (DNC), Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and Nevada State Democratic Party intervened in the case. The court granted the defendants’ motion to dismiss the case due to the plaintiffs’ lack of standing.
