Arizona Pinal County Decertification Challenge

Burk v. Ducey

Lawsuit filed by individual voter in Pinal County, Arizona seeking to decertify the state’s election results based on allegations of “widespread election fraud,” including ballot stuffing and ballot counting machine manipulation. The Arizona Superior Court dismissed the case, holding that the plaintiff did not have standing the bring the case because she was not registered to vote in the 2020 general election. The Arizona Supreme Court affirmed the dismissal and the U.S. Supreme Court denied the petition for a writ of certiorari.

This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
