Trump Impeachment Lawyer’s Firm Sued Trump Admin
WASHINGTON, D.C. — A spokesperson for former President Trump announced today his legal defense team for the Senate impeachment trial, set to begin next week. One of the attorneys who will represent Trump, Pennsylvania attorney Bruce Castor Jr., said he considers “it a privilege to represent the 45th President.”
A few months ago, Castor’s current law firm was on the other side of the courtroom. In August, the law firm van der Veen, O’Neill, Hartshorn, and Levin sued Donald Trump and Postmaster General Louis DeJoy over their actions this past summer that significantly delayed mail delivery across the country. The lawsuit noted that Trump has made “repeated claims…that voting by mail is ripe with fraud despite having no evidence in support of those claims.”
