Georgia U.S. Senate Race
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Incumbent Republican Sen. David Perdue has fallen below the 50% vote threshold. As a result, he and Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff will have a run-off election in January. In fact, Georgia will have two Senate run-off elections on Jan. 5, 2021 — the other will be between U.S. Senate candidate Rev. Raphael Warnock (D) and incumbent Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler. Control of the U.S. Senate will hinge on these two races.
