Wisconsin Election Results Challenge

Petition filed by an individual Wisconsin voter against the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) seeking to block the certification of the 2020 presidential election results based on allegations that absentee ballots placed in drop boxes were “illegal.” The petitioner asked the court to allow the Wisconsin Legislature to arrange another election before election results were certified (December 14) or appoint ten electoral college electors for the state. The Wisconsin Supreme Court denied the petition.

This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
