Georgia Decertification Challenge #2

Lawsuit filed by individual Georgia voter seeking to decertify the presidential election results in Georgia based on allegations of out-of-state voters unlawfully casting ballots in the state and signature verification issues. Biden electors for the state successfully intervened. The trial court dismissed the case for finding, among other things, that the allegations in the complaint “rest on speculation.” The Georgia Supreme Court denied an emergency petition and the individual Georgia voter then voluntarily dismissed the case.

This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
