Montana Green Party Intervention

Lawsuit filed by Green Party candidates and voters against the Montana secretary of state seeking to be added to the ballot after the Green Party’s petition funded by the Montana Republican Party was found to be invalid. The Montana Democratic Party, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) intervened in the case. After the district court denied plaintiffs’ motion for injunctive relief, they appealed to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The Green Party candidates and voters voluntarily dismissed the appeal after the 9th Circuit similarly rejected their motion for injunctive relief.
