Minnesota Election Certification Challenge

Lawsuit filed by Minnesota state legislators, candidates and individual voters seeking to delay the certification of the presidential election results in the state. The Minnesota Supreme Court dismissed the petition.

This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

RESULT: On Dec. 4, 2020, the Minnesota Supreme Court dismissed the petition. Minnesota’s 2020 general election results were certified.
