Idaho Legislative Redistricting Challenge (Stucki)
Stucki v. Idaho Commission for Reapportionment
Lawsuit filed by an Idaho voter challenging Idaho’s legislative map drawn with 2020 census data. The complaint argues that the new map violates several of Idaho’s redistricting requirements and appears to be drawn to protect incumbent lawmakers in some areas. The plaintiff asks the court to declare the map “inadequate” and consider other district proposals. The case was consolidated with three others challenging the state’s new legislative map, with Durst v. Idaho Commission for Reapportionment designated as the lead case.
