Nevada Vote Count Halt (Clark County)

Lawsuit filed by individual voters and Republican candidate committees seeking access to the ballot counting process and challenging the use of mail-in ballot processing machines used in Clark County on the basis that the signature matching technology is faulty. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Nevada State Democratic Party intervened in the case, pointing out that nearly identical lawsuits claiming voter fraud and illegal lack of access to view ballot counting had been tossed out days prior. The court denied the plaintiffs’ motion for injunctive relief and the plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed the case.

This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
