Pennsylvania Allegheny County Certification Challenge

Lawsuit filed by Republican state Senate candidate seeking to block Allegheny County from including “undated” ballots in its certification of presidential election results. The court denied the plaintiff’s motion for a temporary restraining order and later granted summary judgment in favor of the defendants, finding that “the undated ballots at issue remain valid ballots that are properly counted under state law.”

This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
