New Mexico Certification Challenge

Lawsuit filed by the Trump campaign seeking to delay certification of New Mexico’s 2020 presidential election results and order a statewide canvass of absentee votes and an investigation of drop boxes. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) intervened in the case to oppose the Trump campaign’s motion for a preliminary injunction. The plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the case.

This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
