Wisconsin Certifies Biden as Winner

WASHINGTON, D.C.  Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) has formally certified the statewide general election results, awarding the state’s 10 electoral votes to Joe Biden. “Today I carried out my duty to certify the November 3rd election, and as required by state and federal law, I’ve signed the Certificate of Ascertainment for the slate of electors for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris,” said Evers in a statement. “I want to thank our clerks, election administrators, and poll workers across our state for working tirelessly to ensure we had a safe, fair, and efficient election.”

Biden carried the state by more than 20,000 votes. All six of the states where the Trump campaign brought legal challenges in have now certified Biden as the winner.
