New Lawsuit Filed Against Democratic Counties in Georgia

November 12, 2020

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The latest lawsuit challenging the 2020 presidential election results has been filed in federal court in Georgia. Four Republican voters have sued Governor Brian Kemp, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Democratic-leaning counties throughout the state in an attempt to block the certification of the 2020 presidential election results. These counties include but are not limited to: Chatham County, DeKalb County, Fulton County and Gwinnett County. President-elect Joe Biden currently leads President Donald Trump in Georgia by 14,000+ votes, with almost all of the absentee and in-person ballots counted. Similar to other Republican legal challenges filed around the country, the lawsuit relies on false claims of voter fraud in an attempt to cast doubt over the election results.

So far, nearly all of the lawsuits filed by the Trump Campaign and the Republicans have been thrown out of court.
